(Washington, DC) -- National Security Advisor Susan Rice says the U.S. must act against the "barbaric" use of chemical weapons in Syria. Rice is speaking to the New America Foundation this morning to detail her case for taking military action against the Middle Eastern country. She said there's no doubt Syria's president unleashed chemical weapons on his own people last month.
President Obama will do a series of television interviews tonight in hopes of getting a skeptical American public on board with military action in Syria. Congress is expected to take up a resolution this week that would grant the White House authority to launch strikes.
